VOA Development and Media Training

My blog takes you behind the scenes at the Voice of America (VOA), the largest U.S. international broadcaster with a radio, television and Internet audience of over 125 million. I'll post articles about our special broadcasting projects around the world. You'll also get to participate in the media training sessions we run.

About Me

Joan Mower: I'm the director of development and international media training at VOA. It's a dream job where I interact with people from around the world every day. I've done a lot of things before this -- journalist, foreign service officer, non-profit official. I grew up in Africa -- and my heart is still there.
